  • Ferry Service
    Leave your car and arrive to us by ferry. Ferry service is offered from Hyannis, Massachusetts on the Hy-Line Ferry and the Steamship Authority. These companies provide one-hour, high-speed ferry service right to Nantucket Island. If you need to bring your car, the Steamship Authority offers a 2.5-hour car ferry. SeaStreak Ferries sail to and from Nantucket between New Bedford, New Jersey, and New York City. White Elephant Nantucket Island offers a complimentary van pick-up/drop-off service for those taking the ferry. Ferries are equipped with elevators, food, and beverages.
  • CapeFlyer Train - Boston to Hyannis
    The CapeFlyer train runs Memorial Day to Labor Day from the South Station in Boston to the Hyannis Transportation Center with stops in Braintree, Brockton, Middleborough/Lakeville, Wareham Village, and Buzzards Bay. Trains depart from the South Station on Friday evenings and Saturday and Sunday mornings, and from Hyannis on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Travel time is two hours.
  • Island Transportation
    To maintain the coastal charm of Nantucket's quiet cobblestone streets, cars are generally not needed on the island. We are within walking distance from downtown Nantucket and an easy walk to the ferry landings. There are rental car companies, taxis, and The Wave (island transit buses), all available during your stay. Guests are encouraged to use our bicycles to explore the Island. We offer complimentary van pick-up/drop-off service for those taking the fast ferry to Nantucket. We also offer complimentary van pick-up/drop-off service for those taking the ferry.
