Nantucket Noel at White Elephant Hotel
Your Home for the Holidays

NANTUCKET NOEL AT WHITE ELEPHANT HOTEL

Thirty miles out to sea, Nantucket Island goes into full holiday mode. Balsam trees line the cobblestoned Main Street, the storefronts are in a friendly decorating rivalry, and Santa arrives by Coast Guard cutter, because a sleigh is far too ordinary. Starting with Thanksgiving, the fun builds to the imfamous Stroll Weekend of December 4-6, with the Tree Lighting, the Stroll Marketplace, and the Festival of Trees at the Whaling Museum along the way.

Be our guest at White Elephant for Nantucket Noel, where we are hosting Thanksgiving and Stroll with traditional annual events and a couple of holiday surprises along the way. It's the eight best days of the holiday season.

Thanksgiving
THANKSGIVING: NOVEMBER 25-29

GIVE THANKS BY THE HARBOR

Thanksgiving at White Elephant begins on Thanksgiving Eve in the newly renovated Brant Point Grill Lounge, where the island's holiday spirit gets an early start. The next day, gather for a Thanksgiving feast on the Terrace, then work off dessert with a beach walk, settle in for after-dinner drinks, or catch the football games in the bar. The celebration continues through the weekend with the Tree Lighting on Main Street on Friday, where locals and visitors stroll the festive downtown, carolers fill the air with song, and the holiday season officially kicks off. On Saturday, get a head start on your holiday shopping with a day of browsing the island's local boutiques.

GATHER FOR THANKSGIVING

Some places make the holidays feel like the holidays, and Nantucket is one of them. Thanksgiving weekend here is made for family: long beach walks in the crisp air, a hearty feast shared around the table, and days that never run short of things to do. Browse the local boutiques, stroll the cobblestone streets, and gather on Main Street for the Tree Lighting where locals and visitors celebrate together. With traditions that have been part of island life for generations, it's the kind of weekend families remember, and the kind they come back to year after year.
